Sao Paulo is one of the largest metropolises in South America and undoubtedly the cultural capital of Brazil. The place offers a wide array of attractions that include museums, concerts, experimental theatre, night clubs, restaurants, and bars. Here are a few tips to ensure that you enjoy your trip to the city: - Booking Hotéis em São Paulo: There are some who choose package deals that include air tickets and hotel accommodation. This can be tricky and not always to your advantage. Finding an ideal package that combines everything that you want, or making suitable changes to pre designed packages isn’t always possible. Sometimes packages are so restrictive that you are often felt frustrated and dissatisfied. These package deals often claim to be easy on the budget, but if you were to calculate the overall costs, they are more or less the same as booking separately. There are plenty of areas where hotels are concentrated and it shouldn’t be difficult to find a suitable one. - Do Some Research on the Internet: Hotéis São Paulo are reasonably priced when compared to Europe and the US. In fact, it is possible to find a comfortable accommodation for just $50 per night. There are several mid-priced and budget hotels, but be mindful of the area where these are situated. Some of these places might not be safe and you might feel distinctly uncomfortable walking on these streets, especially during the night. Jardins, Guarulhos, Praca da Republica and Rua Augusta some places where you can find excellent accommodations. - Clothes: Sao Paulo and Rio Di Janeiro are known for their trendy lifestyle, although people do dress casually. Casual tee-shirt and jeans are perfect for men and women and can be worn almost everywhere, except the beach. And don’t forget to bring your sun block, sun glasses, and a hat. Since the climate in Sao Paulo is hot and humid, it can get very uncomfortable with jeans. Bermuda shorts, bikinis, sarongs, short skirts and other beach clothes are commonly worn for beaches. Unless you are planning a meeting for an official meeting with high officials and executives, business suits aren’t really required. It is common for middle level executives and bank officials to dress casually. - Currency Exchange: Money can be exchanged at banks and Cambios Exchanges that also recognize travelers check. But traveler’s checks are difficult to exchange outside of Sao Paulo and Rio. Most Hotel São Paulo exchange money at a slightly lower rate, but you will have to carry your passport when doing so.rnOnce you’ve taken care of these issues, travelling to this 500 year old city should be a breeze.
