Congo is officially known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The State of Congo is situated in the Central Africa. The Congo is the second largest country in the Africa by area. The Democratic republic of Congo is also the eleventh largest country in the world. Congo is 18th most over crowded country in the world. The nation of Congo is the fourth most overcrowded nation in the Africa. The Democratic Republic of Congo is bordered by the South Sudan and Central African Republic to the north side, bordered by Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda in the east side and bordered by Zambia and Angola to the south side and bordered by Atlantic Ocean to the west side. In 1998, the Second Congo war overwhelmed the country. It was some time referred as the African World War. Then in 203 the peace accords was signed but the fight is continues in the east side of the country.
The Republic of Congo is situated at the heart of Sub Saharan Africa. The area size of Congo is almost 2,345,408 squares kilometers. The size of Congo is greater than the area of France, Spain, Germany, Norway and Sweden. The Congo has equatorial location. The Congo has heights rain fall and the thunderstorms in the world. The rainfall usually in many places of Congo is 2000 millimeters. The Congo Rainforest is the largest rain forest in the World. The humid weather is also in the Congo due to Congo River System. The River Basin is consists of an area nearly 1,000,000 square kilometers. There are many beautiful natural places in Congo. In Democratic Republic of Congo the World Heritage sites are located at the Garamba National Parki which was found in 1980, the Virunga National Park which was founded in 1979, the Kahuzi Biege National Park which was founded in 1980, the Salonga National Park which was founded in 1984 and the Okapi Wildlife Reserve which was founded in 1996.
The Congo has divided in to the 10 province. The Congo is also divided in to the one city province. The names of provinces are Bandundu, Bas Cango, Equateur, Kasai Occidential, Kasai Oriental, Katanga, Maniema, Nord kivu, Orientale and Sud kivu. The name of city province is Kinshasa. The populations of main cities are in Kinshasa the population is 7,500,000, in Mbuji Mayi the population is 2500,000, in Lubumbashi the population is 1,700,000, in Kananga the population is 1,400,000 and the population in Kolwezi is 1,100,000, and the population of Boma is 600,000. The economy of Congo is very low. The GDP per capita is very low and second poorest in the world. The corruption is widely spread in many government and non government organizations. There are 79 languages which are spoken in Congo, but the official language of Congo is English.
