A Sad Ending

It was 1 o’clock in the night in the winters of Delhi. Winters in Delhi particularly get harsh with temperature falling below 5 degree. After a long walk round the park, boy and girl- who were supposedly couple- took the seat in a white bench beside the street lamp. “I have to tell you something” Boy said to his girlfriend. “What?” Girl said. “We have been friends for 6 months now” Boy said looking down “I know” Girl said with a smile while holding his hand and expecting a proposal. “It’s all a Lie. The Girl was sitting in the bench all alone wondering if time could be turned someway.rnAs time passes by the boy forgot all about her and little friendship, he got fully involved with the girl who he loved and cared. They decided to marry. On the day of his wedding, he received a letter. He opened it up and almost fell down on his chair. “Congratulations, you're getting married to the girl of your dreams. I hope you cherish the girl you're going to marry and spend the rest of your life with. I hope she gives you everything you wanted and more. I hope she’s by your side and takes care of you. I hope she gives you the life you wanted but there's one thing I hope she doesn’t. I hope she doesn’t love you as much as I did. I wanted to tell you that I’m sorry you had to waste 6 months of your life with me. But for me those 6 months were the best in my life. I’m sorry you had to kiss me, but those kisses were the best I ever had. I’m sorry you had to see my face day and night but your face was always on my mind day and night. And I’m sorry you that you had to pretend to love me but I loved you. I will always love you forever and always”rnHe ran out from the reception hall and drove to the address from where the address has come.
