A whole body cleanse has been used by many people for centuries who recognize the benefits of helping their bodies cleanse and detox. When using the right program, benefits can range from healthier, glowing skin, losing excess weight, promoting a flatter stomach and more energy. No wonder even pharmaceutical companies are jumping on the bandwagon!
There are three things to consider while doing a whole body cleanse. They are diet, herbal supplements and bodywork. These will work together to fully help your body remove built-up waste which may show up as excess weight, excess fat and even may contribute to poor health. Helping your body cleanse may help reverse this process.
Your diet or the food you eat while on a whole body cleanse can mean success or failure. Eating junk food will stop your body from cleansing while it slows your metabolism. If you are trying to get rid of waste buildup, don't contribute to it in the process of cleansing. Eating junk foods, fatty foods, and over eating is taxing to your digestion. And it doesn't stop there.
During the cleansing process, your body will attempt to break down built-up waste and then eliminate it. This is your metabolism at work. If you eat food that takes four or five hours to digest, then eat again, your body will have no time to break down waste so it can cleanse itself.
Second to consider are the supplements you take during your whole body cleanse. The right supplements will help your body cleanse while the wrong ones can be a waste of money. Be sure to use a fiber supplement to help soften waste buildup and feed good bacteria. Also include supplements such as chlorella and other dark green superfoods that absorb toxins from your circulatory system while giving your body extra protein and various other nutrients.
Bodywork will complete your whole body cleanse. The bodywork you choose may include colonics, massage therapy, acupuncture or even body wraps. All of these help move toxins and waste out of your body. Bodywork is important to do while cleansing; as your body dislodges toxins and softens excess buildup, these therapies can help complete the process by moving it out.
Your body is a wonderful, living, breathing machine that has systems and organs in place to do all the work necessary to keep you healthy. The organs that help you cleanse and detoxify include your skin, lungs, liver, kidneys and colon. But, just as you must provide nutrition to stay strong, you have to provide the tools that help your body cleanse.
You can find the right cleansing supplements online or at your local health food store. Read both the ingredients and directions. Use common sense such as - if the directions claim you can eat anything during a cleanse don't buy it. This may be a good selling gimmick but in reality isn't usually true or healthy.
Read and research to find the right way to do a whole body cleanse. Your body will thank you and reward you with good health, energy and vitality for years to come.
