Being one of the first planed cities in India, Lavasa attracts tourists by the thousands. It is located in the Pune district, behind the Varasgaon Dam, on the banks of Baji Pasalkar. The Lavasa Pune distance is about 65 kilometres and the Lavasa Mumbai distance is about 180 kilometres. Set in the Mose valley on the seven hills of Maharashtra, Lavasa is a marvel. Look at any of the Lavasa photos available, you will see pure infrastructure genius in each one of them. Lavasa has been intricately planned based on the principles of ecological sustainable environment. It is a hallmark of urbanisation. HHC India manages the city and has equipped it with the latest technologies and facilities. Luxury is given a whole new meaning at Lavasa. Being a hill city, Lavasa provides the tourists that visit with opportunities of adventure. They can do a wide number of different activities here. Be it trekking, hiking, mountain climbing, or being biking, it is all possible in this planned city. There are several valleys and mountains that surround Lavasa and at to its value. There is also a lake there where on the lakeshore, opportunities for water adventure is evident with activities like boating, cruising, boat bumpers, and jet skiing. Even if you are not the adventurous kind, there is still a ton to do in Lavasa for you. The weather is phenomenal year round, and the monsoons are exceptionally gorgeous. It brings out the best of the lushness around the city and also all over the surrounding mountains and valleys. A collection of unique natural wildlife is abundant during the monsoon in the waterfalls and surrounding areas. And. No matter what your choice of activity, don't forget to pack your cameras as you will regret not capturing the breathtaking shots in your Lavasa photos, to cherish for life. The Lavasa - Mumbai distance, and the Lavasa - Pune distance can be covered easily for a weekend trip. The Lavasa - Pune distance is shorter than the Lavasa Mumbai distance as the hill city is in the Pune district. The Lavasa - Mumbai route can be covered on the Mumbai - Pune expressway. The entire distance can be covered with normal traffic since the expressway is super functional and efficient now. The Lavasa - Mumbai route is also extremely scenic. The Lavasa - Pune route is a shorter distance. The nearest airport is about 49 kilometres from Lavasa. The new Panvel airport is about 145 kilometres from Lavasa, and the International airport in Mumbai is about 215 kilometres away. There are also trains and busses available to travel to Lavasa. So, pack your bags and head on to the planned city of India, not just for a serene weekend, but also a blast of adventure. The restaurants and shopping is also an added bonus when galloping around the city in free time. It is a vacation spot that makes everyone in the group happy!
