I have some exciting news to share with you. This may totally transform your health. But first, let me ask you a few questions.

  • Do you look and feel as well as you'd like? - Are you full of energy and feeling vibrantly alive every day? - How's your weight? Is it in the ideal range for your height and bone structure? - Have you been free of prescription drugs and OTC medications for five years or longer?

If you answered a resounding "Yes" to each of these questions, you don't need to read the rest of this article. Just forward it on to someone you know who would like to look or feel better.

But if you answered "No" to just one of the above questions, read on. This could be the key to turn your health around. It may even save your life.

Let's get down to business here and talk about "health facts."

Everyone needs to eat. Food and water are two of the most basic essentials you need to live and have a healthy body. You know the importance of healthy eating, even if you're not eating as healthfully as you should. But do you know that some healthy foods, even so-called super foods may be unhealthy for you?

That's right. Just because a food is generally healthy and rich in health-giving nutrients, does not mean it's healthy for you! You've heard the expressio
"One man's meat is another man's poison." Have you ever really thought about it? This is what's called biochemical individuality. You are unique, and so are your needs for the food you eat.

If you're not feeling optimally healthy every day, you may be eating foods that are unhealthy for you. Even if you're eating only healthy foods, you may be eating what I call "unhealthy-healthy foods." And everyone's "unhealthy-healthy foods" are unique to them. For example, some of my "unhealthy-healthy foods" are salmon, grapefruit and red leaf lettuce.

So, here's the big question - Are your foods making you sick?

If you suffer from any of these or other ailments, the answer might just be "Yes!" - Acne
- Anxiety
- Asthma
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBS) - Depression
- Digestive Disorders
- Migraine or Tension Headaches
- Obesity
- Chronic Fatigue
- ADD / ADHD
- Aching Joints
- Skin Disorders
- Arthritis

All these conditions and more can result from hidden food allergies, also known as food sensitivities or food intolerance.

Now, food sensitivities are different from food allergies.

When you have food allergies, you have an immediate response when you eat the offending food. You know for certain that the symptoms you're feeling are the result of the specific food you ate. True food allergies are rare. A very small percentage of the population has real food allergies.

When you have food sensitivities, your response is delayed for 72 hours or longer. By the time you're feeling bad, the food that caused your symptoms was eaten long ago and you can't make a connection between the specific food you ate and the reaction you're experiencing. Food sensitivities are relatively common, though most people don't know they have them.

How do you find out if you have food sensitivities?

"The ALCAT Test is the most effective and comprehensive sensitivity/intolerance test available... It is the only test shown to correlate with clinical symptoms by double blind oral challenges, the gold standard."

Also, an unexpected benefit of eliminating food you're intolerant to, in many cases, is permanent weight loss - for those who need to lose weight.

What are you eating that you're sensitive to?

Note: This is not a substitute for medical advice. If you have health problems, consult your physician.
