Vietnam is a country in South- East Asia, which borders Laos, Cambodia, and China, and has 90 million inhabitants. Despite the communist regime, this country has a beautiful landscape and culture, which allows you to visit this oriental place full of flavors and aromas. For citizens of these countries, who are eligible to enter Vietnam without a regular visa from the embassy, there is an Electronic Travel Authorization system, which entitles you to travel there for tourist or business purposes. At the same time, there is also an obligatory, when you want to travel; eVisa to Vietnam is very easy to apply and everybody can do it easily. The whole process normally takes maximum 3 days, but it worth remembering that the final result is dependent on the Vietnam government. There are many interesting facts about Vietnam. For example, there are 7 monuments, which are listed on the UNESCO registry: set of historical monuments in Hue, Ha - Long Bay, old town Hoi An, Sanctuary Mi- Son, National Park Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Ho Dynasty Citadel and landscape of Trang An. All this monument and natural landscapes are truly beautiful and even if you will see just one, the view will be breathtaking. rnVietnam is also the capital of the “water puppet dolls”. These wooden puppets are the main actors in theatre performances. But the scenes taking place on the water. The dolls are colorful, beautifully made and sometimes they are even 100 centimeters high and can weigh up to 5 kilograms. rnIn the Bắc Hà village, which is situated in the mountains, there are taking place special handicrafts markets. This is not typically touristic place - the market is created especially for the native habitats, where they can buy a handcraft made by ethnic minorities. What is Vietnam associated with the most? Of course with the kitchen. Probably the most famous in the whole world is the 5 flavors kitchen. The tastes are associated with 5 elements, that occur in nature: spicy (connected with metal); sour (associated with the wood), bitter (the fire), salty (water) and sweet (the ground). The most popular dishes in Vietnam, which probably everyone knows are Pho and Bahn mi. Pho is an oriental pasta, which you can buy in every Chinese restaurant; and Bahn mi is just a piece of baguette with pork, carrot, coriander, and cucumber. Referring to the kitchen… Vietnam has probably the cheapest beer int the whole world. In 2009 a glass of Vietnamese beer cost about 0, 25 dollars. The beer is fresh and drinkable up to 48 hours since opening the barrel. Of course, Vietnam is a different culture and when you enter the country is worth to remember that the customs and tradition are special there. For example, it is not polite to touch a Vietnamese in the head, cause according to beliefs, in this place is situated the soul of the person. Maybe that’s why also looking in the eyes is not welcome when you respect someone. The same as loud conversations - Vietnamese appreciate silence. rnVietnam is a big country, which offers a variety of tastes and views. Marked by a heavy past, still have amazing nature and culture. The rice fields are beautiful, and green tea tastes the best in the whole world.
