So says Jonathan Feldman of Millennium Drilling, who is now diving into the real estate market. He is back and going strong. More importantly, he is now more cautious about believing others just because they may be running a huge operation or have an established name. His dealings with Sandridge, a publicly trade company that misrepresented its operations and causing significant damage, has taught him that. Although the dispute betwee Jonathan Feldman, Patriot Exploration et al and Sandridge is still pending in the courts, Jonathan is already pushing onwards to other business areas where he has an excellent record of accomplishment. Jonathan is well known for effectively spotting investment opportunities and has a proven track record of successfully developing and managing assets over $650 million. He has developed wide industry experience, not the least as Jonathan Feldman of Millennium Drilling, but also as Jonathan Feldman of Patriot Exploration, and Jonathan Feldman of Greenwich CT. Feldman’s interests in Patriot Exploration extended to energy related holdings, real estate, a physical oil trading company, gas and oil contract drilling and related production facilities. However, Jonathan’s experience with Sandridge, a publicly traded company, has confirmed to him that oil and gas is a high-reward, but too high-risk game, which can sometimes leave you with nothing to show in the end and that the people you deal is always as important as the investment itself. Jonathan believes today that gas and oil is like research and development – it can succeed with extremely high returns, or it can fail with total and catastrophic loss. In contrast, real estate can rarely end up in total loss because if an investor can simply hold onto the property until the market recovers, his chances of making back what he lost increase. That’s what Jonathan Feldman learned from his work in Patriot Explorations, and now he is back to real estate – the field in which he shined just a decade ago. His real estate investment track record includes successful investments in commercial and residential properties and advising on assisted living facilities and nursing home acquisitions worth more than $200 million. Feldman also has extensive experience in secured lending facilities to private companies and in supervising public debt securities portfolios. His best selling point, of course, is his in-depth knowledge in the management of tax liability. Jonathan began his working life as a realtor, and after earning his license to practice as a real estate agent, he engaged himself in the business of leasing apartments in Boston. He used to purchase apartment buildings for which he was the leasing agent and then would convert them into student rentals. By the age of twenty seven, he was already managing one hundred and forty four apartments without any assistance of third-party investors. Astonishingly, before the age of 20, the sum total of his real estate transactions exceed $400 million through his work as investor and advisor. Jonathan Feldman established Millennium Drilling, a contract drilling company in 2001 and within seven years of founding the company, he was well into holding drilling contracts for almost 200 gas and oil wells backed by 30 investment partnerships.
