“A True Story of Love and Healing”

Once there was a young boy who went through life feeling alone. Feeling as though he did not belong, and that everyone was busy doing this and that, but he did not fit in. He went to school and had a hard time learning because he had a learning disability, which made it difficult for him to read, write, and do math. It was frustrating for his parents that didn’t know what to do… so their frustration eventually grew to anger.

But all along this young boy had a different vision. He saw things that other people did not see. He noticed the trees moving in the breeze, water trickling in the stream, even when it rained he notice every single drop of water and how it would cling to the window and finally make it’s away down to the window sill. He loved animals and was deeply connected to nature. In fact he was immersed in nature because he felt at home there. There was a sense of peace in nature that he did not find anywhere else. He did not understand at the time… but he was connecting to God, the Universe, and the One and Only through nature.

And sometimes he would stand out under big old oak tree in their front yard and look up at the light filtering through the branches. Long rays of light would dance and move around on his face, and put him into a trance like state of bliss where he felt at home. He would sometimes stand there for 15 or 20 minutes, just allowing the warmth of the sun dance on his face. Then his mother would call him, and he was pulled back into the world and all the trappings of daily life.

It was during those 15 to 20 minutes in the light of God, that this little boy felt most alive. In that short period of time that he felt as though he belonged to something bigger, something grand, and something accepting and loving. It’s not that his family didn’t love him, on the contrary they did love him a lot. But as with most families there was not the acceptance of unconditional love that he felt in the light. His family would love him if he cleaned the yard, made his bed, and they would love him if he washed the dishes and so on. But his father held a lot of anger inside, and on occasion his father would rage and hit the little boy.

This hurt the little boy because he had a tender heart, and only wanted everyone to be loving and kind. After a while the little boy started to act out and lash out, because deep down inside he wanted to be loved just because he was alive. And this went on for a long time, through grade school, and even in college he was searching for something. He was looking for a place to fit in, and a place to feel at peace… other than in the light of God under the big oak tree. But alas that place of fitting in was never found in the real world.

Then one day he started to meditate and that first meditation was exactly the same feeling he experienced in the light of God. And for the first time he knew, that what he was experiencing in the light of God and meditation was more real than the realm of the outer world. And thus healing took place for the little boy, the young man, and the grown adult, and all three melted together in contentment… created by the light of Love.

It all made sense now, this was his destiny, his purpose, his path to follow that would help humanity make their way on their journey to becoming interconnected with the light of God. Helping souls find their relationship with the light of God, the Universe, and the One and Only, thus strengthening the spiritual ties with God. To be a liaison between the light and the outer world… and thus helping those suffering find peace. And also helping them find something that would last forever instead of the impermanence of the physical world.

Hopefully they would see the light as he did

and would be blessed with unconditional—LOVE!
