Accsoon Power Cage Pro for iPad 12.9″ models

Accsoon has announced a new Power Cage Pro model for iPad 12.9″ models. This new model joins the existing version that works with 10.5 and 11″ (1st to 3rd Gen) iPad Pro, the 7th and 8th Gen iPad, and the 3rd and 4th Gen iPad Air. The Power Cage Pro is a good solution for directors, producers, gaffers, camera operators, and anyone else who needs to use an iPad on-set. If you are not familiar with the Power Cage Pro it allows you to not only protect your iPad but also power it via a Sony NP-F type battery. The new Power cage Pro lets you place a 12.9” iPad Pro in a rugged precision-cut aluminum alloy casing that weighs 420g /14.81oz. The cage works with iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th generation) models. With the addition of hot-swappable NP-F batteries, users can run their iPad Pros for long periods of time remotely. The cage offers built-in charging protection while connected to the power input of the iPad Pro via the included USB-C or Lightning type cable. The new 12.9” version has a built-in desk stand that allows the iPad to be placed on a suitable flat surface. The built-in dampening of the stand mechanism means it can be placed at a variety of angles for viewing. The cage itself also has multiple 1/4 20 holes for mounting. It can easily be attached to light stands, tripods, car mounts, camera rigs, etc. Price & AvailabilityrnThe Power Cage Pro will be available from all authorized Accsoon dealers at a price of $169 USD. It isn’t listed up on B&H yet, but it should be soon enough.
