"GENERALLY SPEAKING, I SIMPLY ASSUME THAT THE BEST IS ALWAYS HAPPENING IN MY LIFE: WHETHER IT'S ENOUGH MONEY, A COMFORTABLE AND NURTURING PLACE TO LIVE, WHATEVER. IN THIS SAME LINE OF THINKING, I SEE MYSELF PROTECTED AND GUIDED BY A SQUADRON OF GUARDIAN ANGELS … SO I CLEARLY KNOW WHEN IT'S TIME TO LET GO OF A SITUATION THAT'S NOT GOOD FOR ME, AND WHEN TO EMBARK UPON A PATH THAT'S RIGHT." — Chelle Thompson ©2006 Inspiration Line

"One of the best ways to get through difficulties is to simply persevere day by day. Huge projects don't seem as daunting when we focus on one element ... completing that before we tackle the next phase. As Napoleon Hill said, "Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure.'" — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 4/24/06

"As a child I was sculpted by an extremely controlling mother, yet I was simultaneously blessed with guardian angels who constantly whispered Truth into my 'ethereal ear.' While my environment condoned bigotry, for example, I had an inner 'Knowingness' that allowed me to reject that heartless viewpoint ... even at a very early age." — Chelle Thompson ©2004 Inspiration Line

"The more we bless those miraculous events in our lives, the more they will occur. Sometimes even guardian angels need a 'green light'!" — Chelle Thompson ©2003 Inspiration Line

"There have been so many times in my life when the things that looked like disasters were really incredible GIFTS that served as pivotal turning points. I am truly thankful for persevering through all of my so-called 'mistakes.'" — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 11/24/03

"We've all had moments of Angelic Intervention which have saved us from peril or brightened our existence. The more we acknowledge these magical occurrences, the more they'll feel 'invited' to return." — Chelle Thompson Inspiration Line 5/19/03

"Sometimes risk taking may involve the most simple of acts. Yet we often whip up a bag full of excuses to avoid taking action. For goodness sake (literally), let's step beyond our security bubbles and start reaching out to the people and opportunities that cross our path." — Chelle Thompson ©2003 Inspiration Line

As we become more aware and attuned to the multi-dimensional nature of both the Universe and OURSELVES, we create many opportunities for growth. An important aspect of growth is honoring the many facets of who we are. We cannot "hang out in the ethers" to escape Earthly events, nor can we deny that we are "spiritual beings having a human experience." Most of my early life I operated as a warrior who marched into situations braced by the armor of my convictions. Though this served me well in the past, I've learned that it is no longer necessary, or even desirable.

It's important, I find, to recall and re-use old tools that have proven helpful in difficult situations in the past. Sometimes we think we've moved so far forward that a "Been there, done that!" attitude clouds our memory and limits our options. Fear is an ongoing challenge in this world so we need all the assistance we can muster.

In the movie ‘Field of Dreams,” Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner) quotes author Terence Mann (James Earl Jones ) as saying: “There comes a time when all the cosmic tumblers have clicked into place — and the universe opens itself up for a few seconds to show you what’s possible.” In the film, Terence Mann also laments the tragic fact that most folks aren't even aware of that opening when it occurs, so they never walk through the doors that will lead them into their life's potential.

All of us will encounter toxic individuals and circumstances in our lives at one time or another. During those experiences we need to use whatever helpful tools we can find to stay balanced and clear about "who we are." One of the methods I use to maintain perspective is to create a "healthy level of detachment." Healthy, because I still have my heart engaged, but am detached enough not to be running amuck in an emotional minefield.
