What is the Law of Attraction? Simply put, we attract to our lives whatever we give our emotional energy to...whether it is positive emotional energy or negative emotional energy. It is like a magnet and whatever we point the magnet to, we draw into our life. This may sound hokey to you, but do yourself a favor and read on, it just may make sense.

Whether or not we are deliberately trying to attract, we ARE doing so all the time. We attract what we emote. If we give negative emotional energy toward a lack of something, we are attracting insufficiency. If we give positive emotional energy toward something we love, we are attracting more of what we love and enjoy. I know it sounds too easy, but it is really this simple.
5 Steps to Make it Work:

Step 1 — Ask: You must ask for what you want and put your emotions behind it. How do you want your life to be? Write it down in the present tense as if it is really happening and always state it in the positive. If you are ill, don’t say I am not going to be ill any more. If you say it this way, you are still having the negative thoughts of the illness in your head and that is where your energy goes. It would be better to state that you deserve to be healthy, that you are a healthy person, and to think of your body as being a healthy body.

Step 2 — Believe: You must believe that what you are giving your emotional energy to truly will happen. This is much different than hoping for something to happen. Hope still has doubts. Have faith that what you desire will truly happen. There is no room for second guessing either. You either want it or you don’t.

Step 3 — Receive: Be prepared to receive what you ask for. We have all heard the saying, “Be careful what you wish for, it just may happen.” I am here to tell you that if you follow these steps, it will happen! There is no time frame as to when your request will be answered, but it will.

Step 4 — Visualize: Seeing is believing. You need to use all of your senses here for this to work properly. You need to be able to see, hear, feel, smell, taste whatever it is that you want. If it is a new car, perhaps a Mercedes Benz, you need to be able to visualize yourself actually driving it. You need to be able to smell that new car scent when you sit down in it. You need to be able to feel the leather seats and to hear the humming of the engine. Experience it in your mind and you will experience it in real life. Studies have shown that the mind can not tell the difference between a deep visualization that you believe in and reality. It’s kind of like when you awake from a dream and you feel like what you dreamed really happened.

Step 5 — Be Grateful: It is imperative that you show gratitude for what you have in order to be able to receive more. You must also show your appreciation for what you have and let others know how much you appreciate them. Positive thoughts and actions bring about positive change.

Remember, energy flows where attention goes. What is it that you want? Are you willing to work at it?
