We've all seen those advertisements. Acne free in just seventy-two hours. Acne free in less than seven days. Acne freedom in just twenty-four hours. The latest revolutionary cure to acne. But, are these claims truly met by the companies promoting their products with such strong words?nnUnfortunately, the majority of them don't. When you first attempt a new acne treatment, usually it will either clear up your skin pretty quickly or cause you to breakout. There are a number of reasons why your skin breaks out, however the main reason that I've found was that certain ingredients damage your skin, which triggers excessive sebum production. This increase in oil production in the skin increases the likelihood of an acne breakout, so it's important to be aware that not everything works the way it should. nnNow, these acne treatments that trigger acne breakouts often include specific chemicals that are harmful to the skin, but strong on acne. Therefore, if your skin resists the initial acne breakout, there is still a strong chance that you may encounter an acne breakout after seeing much success. This is because the skin can only handle so much. As you keep applying the acne product, if it damages the skin, your skin will slowly be less resistant to any sudden changes that may take place, especially in the environment. Therefore, you encounter an acne breakout, which is definitely not desired. nnBecause of this, it's highly recommended that you do proper research before attempting an acne treatment. There are certain chemicals used that you should avoid, especially if it doesn't deal well with your skin. If a high concentration of an acne fighting ingredient causes you to break out, use a lower concentration and try again. There is no need to try and speed up the acne treatment process, because in the end it will make you suffer from acne for so much longer.
