When I was a kid, every bedside locker in every hospital ward and in every sick room had a bottle of Lucozade sitting on it.
I grew up - as did everyone of my generation - equating Lucozade with illness.
In recent times, clever marketing people have turned this on its head and the product is now firmly associated with health.
It's basically the same product, in more or less the same packaging, still using the same colour scheme.
All that has really changed is our perception.
It's quite a powerful thing, perception, because, even though it can change radically, we always accept what it tells us.
When we considered Lucozade a drink for sick people we were right, and now that we view it as part of a healthy and active lifestyle, we're still right.
In this case, our perception was manipulated by a serious and sustained marketing campaign that re-educated us to see the product in a different light.
But, it's quite simple to manipulate your own perception if you are not happy with what it is showing you.
If you perceive the world as a dangerous and frightening place, you will subconsciously seek out circumstances, people and events to support that view - and you will find them! When you do, you will than have ‘proof' that the world is a dangerous and frightening place and your perception is locked on that.
But, if you can recognise that it is only your perception of the world that makes it appear dangerous and frightening and instead consciously seek out evidence that you are living in a loving and kind place, your perception will change as you attract loving and kind circumstances, people and events to you.
Try it!
What have you got to lose?

I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
