Divine inspiration. The world of spirit. The place where your affirmation lives! It's not exactly magic. More like magically inspired. You can be there in just 3 steps. Let's explore! Have you ever found yourself in this situation? You know what you want to create in life, but you're not sure how to go about it. Or you have a big choice to make, and you can't quite see through the confusion to the option that would serve you best. You are in need of inspiration. Preferably from a wise and trusted source. nnStep 1: The Request. So you put the request "out there." Kind of like a mental SOS. Some might call it a prayer. Others an affirmation. Perhaps it's little more like a stray thought woven simply into the texture of your everyday life. One way or the other, your request is made: "I am clear on the next step toward creating financial security for my family." That's really all you need to hear, of course. The next step. The single most important objective for your energy and attention today ... in this moment. While having a general direction for the big picture is helpful, you really don't need to have the entire road map in hand before you head out. All you really need to know is in which direction to head next.nnStep 2: Active Listening. With activity all around you, it might be simple enough to let an inspired moment pass. Of course that strategy won't pay the light bill! The secret to this next step is to heighten your awareness and intuition. Yet even that won't be enough without sourcing yourself from a particular expectation -- the expectation that once your request is made, you will always be given an inspired response. Try it on for size. What if it's true? What if there really is some kind of cosmic force at work that guarantees an inspired response to your sincere and fervent request? Kind of like when you invite a friend over. You prepare to spend time with them -- maybe even fix up a snack. Then you listen for the doorbell. You expect them to show up. So you've made the request, and now you're actively listening for an answer. Not just any answer, but an inspired one. A response that, when heeded, will put you in the perfect place to resolve your dilemma -- or to pursue your dream! You are giving the matter your attention.nnStep 3: Consider and Act! When it arrives, the answer may be something you've already thought of, but discarded as impractical. It might be something that you "know," but haven't put into practice. It might be a simple confirmation -- for example, someone contacting you to ask for a product or service you'd just thought about developing. Or it could be way out of your usual ballpark. In any case, since you asked the question, it's probably a good idea to consider carefully any responses that come in shortly after. Even if they seem weird or impractical. The fresh ideas or nudges you get within a short time after making your request (anywhere from minutes to days, in my experience) will often contain the seeds of a great new strategy. It may need some development, of course. Do your due diligence in the real world. Then act. All the inspiration in the world is of little value until you incorporate it into your life. Yet who's going to argue when, somewhere down the road, you report that your wildly successful project was Divinely inspired?
