Gaur Pooja – The bride and her family members will pray to the goddess Gauri to provide a beautiful married life for the couple.

Baraat – The groom’s family members will bless him and give a turban to him. Then the groom will climb on a white mare and start moving to the wedding venue along with friends and family members.

Aarti – The bride’s mother will welcome the groom with an arti.

Jaimala – The bride will accept the groom as her husband by putting a garland on his shoulders. The groom will also do the same to accept her as his wife.

Kanyadan – It is the official handover of the bride to the groom by her father. He will take the bride’s hand and give it to the groom asking him to take care of her for a lifetime.
