Air conditioning repair prices are rising up since a widespread refrigerant, R-22 rates are rising up. A coolant that has been used in air conditionersrnup to 2010 is now being discontinued. It is nice news for our earth since R-22 damages our ozone layer, but appalling news for someone who has to put backrntheir R-22 coolant.
Given that the refrigerant will not be made any longer and the source is dwindling, this means the rate will keep soaring, the old "supply and demand" craze.
What used to be $150 for a 30 pound cylinder is nowadays $450 and will persist to get higher. And of course these are wholesale quotes not what the home ownerrnhas to pay.

As a home owner you will have to make a preference between repaying the idiotic charges of R-22, changing your air condition system to use the much cheaper coolant
or exchanging your air conditioning unit all together. Furthermore depending on the kind and model of your unit refitting it might not be workable so you will have to exchangernthe full unit. Although there is a happy side to this, the modern systems nowadays are much more effective and quieter operating. It would seem that mostrnpeople will trade their ac units more willingly than the other choices, it will save you alot of currency in the long hall.

Before you make your mind up on exchanging, refitting or recharging your unit speak to your ac repair contractor and picture out your best choice. Your finances
and needs will verify what is best for you. In the long run the top option will be to exchange your ac unit because of more efficient andrnenviromentally safe running models. Make sure the air condioning repair technician understands your needs. So don't delay till your ac system breaks down
to figure out what you are going to do. Chart ahead to save yourself several head aches.
