Ever wonder why people need to go to alcohol rehab centers? Why, even, is alcohol something that you need to be rehabilitated from? Everyone enjoys a drink, right? There are various treatments, depending on the center. Most will start out with a period of detox. No more alcohol. Let it sweat out of your system. Then, some will start you with a 12-step process, where you learn about alcoholism as if it's a disease. Others will put you into therapy, either one-on-one or in groups, to talk about the underlying reasons for your decisions. What's really going on, they wonder, that you could be putting yourself in this situation?
