This is due to the fact that these places have the most oil gland, so all your hair follicles are actually connected to oil glands.  Other factors that contribute to acne include hormonal changes, diet, excessive stress or anxiety, many medications too. Moreover, genetics play a huge role in acne as well. If one's parents had acne, the chances are that the child will too.   Now, androgens are the hormones that increase in boys and girls during puberty. They end up allowing one's sebaceous glands to open up, get wider, and make more sebum. This is the reason that most teenagers go through acne. Other hormonal factors play a role here as well. For instance, most women out there go through acne during their mensural cycle.   Moving on, there are certain foods, such as foods rich in carbohydrates that can make one's acne worse. Most people believe that chocolates affect one's acne as well; however, that is just a myth. Chocolates have little to no effect on acne. Lastly, stress doesn't really cause acne. However, if you have acne-prone skin and go through stress, it can make it go worse. 

How Can I Get Rid Of Acne? 

There are many ways one can get rid of acne. However, you should not consider starting the treatment on your own. These include drinking more water, eating healthy, choosing the right skincare products, using only oil-free makeup that will not clog your pores, and more.
