Starting with Goods and services tax considered as an indirect tax for the whole country that will make India one common market. It is a tax which are imposed on the sale, manufacturing and the usage of goods and services. In simple words, it is a single tax implemented on the supply of all the goods and services from the manufacturer to the customer. All the creditworthiness of the input taxes paid at each level will be available in the subsequent levels of the value addition on every level. The final costumer’s or consumers have to bear the only tax charged by the last retailer in the supply chain with the bunch of benefits are at all the previous stages. Although, it charged at National and state level at similar rates for all the same products and replaces with all the current indirect taxes which are imposed by the Union and the states. Taking everything into account Goods and services tax is a destination-based tax which means that they pay the tax at the place of supply.

So for getting GST registration completed each and every supplier (one person company/pvt ltd company/others) has to register in each state or Union territory from where he/she affects supply if he fulfills the following conditions- ● He/she should have an annual aggregate turnover in India having a limit of 20 Lakhs (10 lakhs in Northeastern states) ● should register under any earlier indirect tax regimes ● having multiple branches in one statern● has to pay a reverse charge if not registered under GSTrn● required to input service distributorrn● All the agents of the supplierrn● Supplying goods and services through E-commerce operatorrn● E-commerce aggregator who supplies good and services under his own brand namern● Providing online information and the database information from a place outside India to a person who resides in India.

GST RATES IN INDIA
