Morning sickness is a misnomer for some women who face morning sickness in the first four weeks of being pregnant. Nausea and vomiting occur at night and day, thus, it creates miserable situations for most pregnant women. How to Deal with Morning Sickness? Luckily, there are a number of ways to reduce morning sickness during pregnancy. The most important way is to eat small but frequent meals throughout the day. Feelings of nausea may be soothed by eating lemonade, watermelon, and salty potato chips. Hence, you can include them in your diet if they best alleviate your queasiness. Evade eating spicy foods and heavy, unpleasant, strong smells since they can as well add to the burden of having morning sickness. Furthermore, avoid lying down right after meal since it also triggers you to feel queasy. Wait for an hour or two before lying down. Effects of Morning Sickness to Your Daily Routine Certainly, it is not only your body which is affected with this morning sickness. It also has effects on your daily routine by changing your habits. In a result, your pregnancy becomes a dreadful one.
    • Altered sleeping and eating habits- Discomfort causes your sleeping habits to change. At times, you may be sleeping late because of unexplained feelings which come along with other pregnancy signs and symptoms. Moreover, pregnant women find it hard to prepare meals because of their sensitive taste and smell. They easily get nauseated if they smell cooking odors when preparing foods. • They find it disgusting to have a car ride since it makes them feel nauseated. As a result, they cannot go to their desired places like malls and shops. • Breadwinner moms need to leave their jobs for a while since they can’t tolerate the uneasiness of nausea which sometimes attacks at work.
Morning sickness may be considered dreadful by majority of women. However, it signifies a healthy pregnancy. Therefore, you must focus yourself on how to handle your pregnancy properly instead of stressing yourself too much by letting morning sickness invade your body.
