I'm sure you've heard the term Alpha Male before. Some men associate this expression with an animal species: the strongest and toughest monkey or lion that the others defer to and gets to eat first, and mate with the most attractive females in the tribe. Some guys have a negative opinion of what it means to be an Alpha Male. It means the football captain who used to rule their high school, bullying the smaller kids and getting the hottest girls. Or maybe you work with an Alpha Male: a "man's man" who is bursting with self-confidence, and focuses intensely on accomplishing his goals. How To Become An Alpha Male, Tip #1: Bringing out your Alpha side means that you display charm and self-confidence when you are around women AND other men. Always enlarge your social network! This is SO important. The bottom line is, I've seen lots of guys who study "pickup" because they want to master the art of how to become an Alpha Male. While some of these men become more skilled and confident when they're around women, they still act like "Beta" guys when they're around other men -- especially Alpha Males whom they perceive to have higher status than they do. I know that when you go out, the main goal is to meet girls, but making new friendships with "Alpha" guys is going to elevate your long-term game. Make this a part of your new routine. Whenever you're hanging out in a social environment -- such as a nightclub, bar or party -- and you see guys who have cool, positive energy and are having a good time (and flirting with the girls) -- introduce yourself to them. Walk up to the coolest-looking dude in the room and tell him, "Bro, I'm impressed. The girls into you, what's your secret?" Chances are, this guy will be friendly towards you and he'll gladly share some wisdom. Now you've added a powerful friend and wingman to your social network. As you expand your network of Alpha wingmen, the social benefits are major. These guys will invite you to bars, parties, etc. that you didn't know about. They may even know hot women that they want to introduce you to. And when you're hanging out with your Alpha buddies in social environments, you automatically have social proof in the eyes of the women. When girls see you hanging with these guys, it shows that you have high social value. You may need to begin spending your free time with some new wingmen, if the guys you usually go out with don't have a healthy level of energy and confidence. How To Become An Alpha Male, Next Tip: The next piece of advice on being an Alpha Male is that you must stop being wishy-washy, and be decisive instead. Lay out a path for women to follow, and they will respect you for it. This may sound a little bit chauvenistic, but it's the truth. She really doesn't want to have to decide which movie to go see, or where to have dinner tonight...you're actually making her a bit uncomfortable when you show indecisive behavior. Women need to feel that their man is emotionally strong and able to provide security and protection. You need to step up, take control, and make decisions. Even if it's as minor as deciding where to go for coffee or dinner. She might not always agree, but she will respect the fact that you have a definite opinion. The weak move is saying to a girl, "So if you're not busy sometime, maybe we could meet up and do something..." ALPHA MOVE: "So what's your favorite funny movie of all time? I'll rent it and we can watch it at my place on Friday night, while you sample some of my cooking." Or, "You mentioned you love Thai food. I know about this great restaurant that's a hidden gem, and I want to show it to you. Let's do it Friday night at o'clock." How To Become An Alpha Male, Tip #3: Leave them wanting more. The top Alpha Males - whether it's a business mogul, or a Hollywood star - are very busy people. They simply are not going to give you unlimited amounts of time. Your mindset should be the same with women. YOU want to be the one ending the conversation first, whether it's a conversation at a bar, or a phone call to set up a date. The regular dude will keep talking and babbling until the woman finally says, "I have to go find my friend" or "it's was nice talking to you, but I have to get going..." You should always have a game plan in mind when you converse with a woman, and accomplish that goal before the conversation ends. When you're hanging out at a bar, the objective could perhaps be to get her phone number and email address. If you're ringing her phone, the purpose could be to figure out when you're going to see her next. In essence, you've got to have a plan, a series of steps in your mind, and a way to execute it.
