But nothing could be far from the truth. Research has proved that the UV radiations emitted by the solarium actually increases the risk of developing cancer by nearly 75 percent especially in people who use it before they are 35 years old. The International Agency for Research on Cancer actually lists tanning beds at the top of its list of high cancer risk category. They have labelled it “carcinogenic to humans”.
