Amazing Story of Ghar-e-Thor

The amazing incident of our beloved Prophet (peace be upon him) and his companions stay at the Cave Thor and the beautiful story of Allah’s assistance of His loved men leaves us spell bounded and enhance our faith in Allah a lot more.rnThe renowned Cave Thor is located 2.5 kilometers away from the Holy Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah. Each year when Muslims travel from all around the world by availing Ramadan Umrah 2017 For Muslims, they must have a visit to the historic Ghar-e-Thor to revive the stories of Islam and to experience the amazing events of past on their own. It is stated that when our Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) started preaching the teachings of Islam, the people of Arab went against him and the enemies of Prophet stated planning various ways to kill him. When the circumstances became intense for the Prophet (PBUH) and his companions, Prophet decided to migrate from Makkah to Madinah with his companions by the will of Allah.rnDuring migration, the people of Quraish were continuously in search of Prophet (PBUH) and were chasing him. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) decided to stay in a cave with Hazrat Abu Bakar (R.A) for a night. An amazing incident occur when a tree hanged its branches on the cave’s entrance. A dove came and it built a nest and also laid eggs. A spider started building a web on the entrance of the cave. All these incidents completely changed the look of the cave and gave an impression that the cave had not been visited by people since decades. All the enemies came to look for Prophet (PBUH) and didn’t bother to look inside the cave due to its condition. Through this way, Allah saved his beloved men who were migrating from Makah to Madinah and were facing problems by preaching Islam. This example clearly shows that Allah never leaves His true believers alone and always provide the assistance whenever needed.rnAfter this miracle, Ghar-e-Thor is considered to be a symbol of belief and faith for all those people who never lose hope in the times of hardships and always have trust in Almighty’s blessings.
