Have you ever woke up with a dreadful and eerie feeling that all your hard work, all your goals, dreams and aspirations that you have focused on will not come to fruition? And that anything you are doing in that direction will be and is an utter failure, including yourself? WOW! What a way to start the day! What are you supposed to do to recover from something like that? In this scenario, I think you can do one of several things: 1. Give in to the negativity. Feed the feeling of fear and of being a failure. 2. Stay in bed. Try to sleep off that emotional hangover and hope to God it goes away soon. 3. Regroup and come up with a way to recover from the ambush. Run whats called a counter ambush! When you find that you are being ambushed from your own fear and negativity do not give in to it. Have a game plan and run a counter ambush. Be a spiritual warrior and address the thoughts of pain, hurt, fear, and other negativity with thoughts and emotions of love, forgiveness and compassion. It is my belief that we can not do or make any big advances or changes in our life without first recognizing that there is a higher power. Without that higher power, we ourselves are powerless! When we recognize there is a higher power within us, we then recognize that we too are a part of that higher power. We are creative beings who are divine and can bring about and manifest change in our life. When thoughts of fear and negativity come up, I recognize that this is from a number of things: 1. My Ego (Edging God Out). That part of me that feels is separate from God. That part of me that will do its best to make me feel less of myself and will gravitate towards the negativity in life. 2. Old habits and programming still left over from the subconscious mind. I then ask the Holy Spirit to lovingly and gently close the door to the ego and restore me to right mindedness. According to A Course in Miracles; right mindedness is a state of mind and a place in ones mind that is completly sane. It is the home of the Holy Spirit, right mindedness, forgiveness and miracles. After that, I say a short pray from A Course in Miracles to restore me to peace: I must have decided wrongly, because I am not at peace. I made the decision myself, but I can also decide otherwise. I want to decide otherwise, becuase I want to be at peace. I do not feel guilty, because the Holy Spirit will undo all the consequences of my wrong decision if I will let Him. I choose to let Him, by allowing Him to decide for God for me. The Holy Spirit will respond to you immediately, but what is important is that you ask for it. Because of free will, Holy Spirit cannot do anything for us unless we ask for it first. So forgive yourself for having these thoughts and fears. Do not beat yourself up. Recover gracefully. Take a few breaths, center yourself. Do your best to relax. Now start finding ways to be thankful. Even if they are very small. Be thankful for the house you have, the bed your in. Be thankful for your family, your job, your friends. Be thankful for the experience, and be thankful for being able to recover. Act as if the storm has already passed (The Torah) Get in the mind set of acting as if you are done with this attitude. Start acting like you are happy, joyful. Act as you would if you were completely happy and laughing. You might be surprised and even laugh out loud! Walk around your house and find other things to be thankful for. This will start to change the vibrational state that you are in. If you have time, pop in The Secret DVD, or better yet, jump on the computer and watch "The Secret to me" movie. If you do not have The Secret, you can purchase it here; The Secret (Extended Edition). Start saying affirmations. Start writing down on a note card or journal things you are happy and grateful for. Try this: I am so happy and grateful now that I am confident in myself and in my ability to manifest my goals, dreams and desires! If this feels like a lie to you, thats Okay. Forgive yourself for that as well. Bob Proctor said in a seminar once, If you write down a lie and repeat it over and over again, you will start to believe it! Do your best to motivate yourself and change your thinking. Do not give up! Read a book or listen to a motivation book on CD, such as Wayne Dyer or Bob Proctor. Surround yourself with people who support and love you! If you feel you want to talk to someone such as myself, call me or email me. I do lots of life coaching, counseling, belief system changes through Theta Healing and Synergia. I can get you back to where you need to be and give you the tools to become successful. Above all, always love yourself. Remember that you are spirit, a divine being filled with love, peace and joy. Know that you are whole perfect and complete and that you have the power to change and create the life that you want! Love and LightnnDr.Timothy D.Div
