Samrat Yantrar
Samrat Yantra is the largest sundial in the world at over 27 meters high. On its left side, its arc shows the time from sunrise to midday. On its right side, the other one displays the time from midday to sunset.

Raj Yantrar
Raj Yantra is a multi-function instrument, with fine engravings of angular distance, latitudes and planets. This uses in the preparation of the Hindu calendar. For the purpose, a telescope gets fixed over the central hole and a sighting bar is attached at the back. The plain disk comes used to record the sightings.

Jai Prakash Yantrar
This comes as an invention by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It is the most accurate, interesting all the instruments of the observatory in Jantar Mantar. It tells the time and measures the coordinates of celestial bodies.
