Many dog owners got scared when pet foods were reported to be contaminated with poisons and foreign objects, and they started getting serious about what type of products they buy for their canine buddies. Organic dog food has become more popular because of the methods in which it is created. Let's take a quick look at some advantages in feeding this type of product. Just like their human companions, canines can develop allergies to different types of food and other items. The chemicals used in most commercial feeds have shown evidence of being the reason canines get skin rashes. Once they are put on an all natural feed, these skin conditions clear up, and their hair and coats are much softer, shinier and healthier. Getting the attention of a dog can be difficult, especially if they are interested in something other than what you are offering. However, when a dog doesn't seem to have any interest in anything but laying around, it could be something in their food that is causing it. Natural feeds have shown results of improved attention span, brighter eyes, and less fluid dripping from their ears. Now they seem to be interested in everything going on around them. Most people are not aware of some of the ingredients used to create what is called roughage, but these fillers are often something you might not want your pets eating. Ground up chicken feathers are commonly used in most non-organic feeds, and again present a possibility for allergic reactions. All natural feeds do not have discarded byproducts, and the digestion of the canine greatly improves, along with bad breath. Most puppies are naturally playful, but as they get older the type of food they are being fed can cause them to have less energy. Naturally grown ingredients help in hydrating the body, which keeps the nutrition flushed through their system, and the result is a marked increase of energy, and vitality. Their innate senses of smell, and hearing also improve, along with greater body tone which makes them more interested in playing. Endurance is necessary for dogs who are used in such areas of service as search and rescue. Although they may be chosen based on their breed, what the dogs are fed makes a lot of difference in their ability to continue until the tasks are completed. Organically grown feeds greatly improve the muscles, especially the heart muscle, and builds their immune system to fight off diseases and infections. Medically related visits to the veterinarian are greatly decreases when dogs are put on a steady diet of all natural ingredients. When there is proper digestion the nutrition is completely used by the body to repair itself, and resist attacks from microbes. Most dog owners who feed these natural products spend much less money each year on doctor visits for their canine companions, and their dogs live longer. The ingredients used in organic dog food is grown with no commercially manufactured fertilizers, or sprayed with toxic pesticides. Natural fertilizers and other sources of minerals and vitamins are part of what makes this type of product help keep canines active, alert, healthy, and fully energetic for play time, and walk in the doggie park.
