This is Anifatou Gado. She was born on March 6, 2005 into a small, respectable family. Her lovely mother cared for her and her three other siblings. Her hard working father made a living to support his wife and children by selling gasoline out of their home.
By the age of three, Anifatou was an orphan, left only to the world when her parents and brothers and sisters were burned to death in a fire. The fire not only stole her family but her childhood when she was thrown out of the window on the fateful evening of the fire. Her father tossed Anifatou through the plane glass in order to save her life. His hope for her was for survival; after the healing of the cuts, scratches and bruises. But who will help heal her soul?
God’s Children International has answered the call. Anifatou has been under our care and receives support to help her remain in school and to receive adequate nutrition and housing. Just as her father felt in his last hour that she deserved a chance.
God’s Children International, Inc believes that with caring and generous kindness her life can be repaired. Death and pain consumed the Gado family; God’s Children International is breathing life into Anifatou through its educational programs and relief funds. We need your help to continue to educate Anifatou and other children like her. Please donate your time, your talent or your cash to help educate the children of Togo and around the world.
