Beautify your skin from the inside and the outside. Anti aging is best fought on two fronts, the outside through our skin and the inside on a cellular level. Aging occurs due to free radicals which damage our cells and cause fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, dark spots, and broken veins. Free radicals are caused by exercise, smoke, stress or even the metabolism of our food into energy. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals preventing damage to all the cells in the body including our skin. Maintain healthy, beautiful, youthful looking skin by giving your body antioxidants from the inside and out. Our skin is the body’s largest organ. It protects our internal structures from disease, infection, bacteria, viruses and parasites from our environment it also helps to remove toxins from the inside through our skin glands. That doesn’t mean our skin isn’t susceptible to free radical damage. Excessive sun exposure damages the skin from the outside and internal free radical damage can weaken the skins structure and cause signs of aging. Protect your skin by applying antioxidants products. Antioxidants such as phenol extracts (derived from plants including fruit and grains), vitamin C and vitamin E protect the skin from free radical damage from the sun. Antioxidants exfoliate the skin, increasing the maturation process of skin cells, and revealing new, healthy, youthful skin cells. Always protect your skin with sunscreen when going outdoors. Apply antioxidants to skin daily and sunscreen before you go outside and eat a healthy diet full of antioxidants. Eating a variety of foods with antioxidants not only helps skin from aging but also keeps cellular damage at bay. Brightly colored fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, oily fish, organ meats, and canola and soybean oils should be included in your diet. Each of these groups of foods contains powerful antioxidants, which protect the body from aging at a cellular level. Coenzyme Q10 protects proteins, amino acids, and fat cells and can be found in organ meats, oily fish and canola and soybean oils. Vitamin E reduces sun damage and is found in nuts, seeds, and leafy greens. Sulforaphane protects the skin cells from UV sun damage is found in cruciferous vegetables. Carotenoids, which in the body is turned into Vitamin A, improves skin tone and protects against sun damage. Carrots, sweet potatoes, leafy greens, apricots, cantaloupe, tomatoes, watermelon, and bell peppers contain carotenoids. Vitamin C protects skins structure by protecting elastin and collagen in the skin. Guava, kiwi, papaya, and citrus fruits contain adequate amounts of vitamin C. Polyphenols are found in apples, green tea, citrus fruits, grapes, dark chocolate, berries, cranberries, and red wine. Polyphenols protect the skin from UV radiation. By eating a wide variety of these foods your body can neutralize free radicals protecting your cells from disease, damage and aging. By attacking free radicals from the inside and out you protect your health and your beauty. Fill your skin care routine and your diet with antioxidants to reduce the signs of aging and fight off disease. Antioxidants are the key to looking and feeling your best on a daily basis.
