Each person reacts differently to anxiety. Some people can go through great stress and not be held back by their anxiety. Others may not appear to be stressed and suddenly develop classic anxiety symptoms.nnAnxiety counseling will be beneficial to those whose anxiety has reached a stage where it's difficult to function normally on a daily basis.nnThe anxiety you feel before a speech or when a loved one is in hospital is different from an anxiety disorder. With an anxiety disorder, you will very likely have physical symptoms such as dizziness, rapid heart, nausea, fatigue, insomnia and breathlessness, to name a few.nnDon't Let Your Anxiety Lead To Other ProblemsnnAnxiety can also lead to panic attacks, generalized anxiety disorder or even social phobia. It's best to get help as soon as you can before it reaches a stage where you end up with other problems.nnReceiving counseling can be an effective way to help deal with your anxiety. Depending on you and your situation, there are different types of counseling.nnFor example, you can have face-to-face counseling, which generally is the best, counseling over the phone and even using the internet. They all have their good points.nnPhone counseling is convenient if you don't wish or cannot leave your home. If there's no mental health facility near you, this is a great alternative.nnInternet Counseling Is Also Available For The Extremely NervousnnSome people are afraid to use the phone as well, particularly if you are nervous and have social anxiety as well. There are people who are afraid to speak to others 'in authority'.nnThey may be afraid of saying something 'silly' or always wondering what the other person is thinking about them. This makes it hard to concentrate and take things in.nnThese people can use the internet, either e-mail therapy or a 'live chat' function. So not to worry, there are options.nnEventually, it might be best to work towards face-to-face counseling. Again, this depends on you. If you make good progress with other methods and would rather leave it at that, then be happy with it.nnWork closely with your therapist. By understanding you and your needs, they will be able to give you the best anxiety counseling for your needs.
