Have you got what it takes to run a network marketing inte
et business? Working from home is the ideal scenario for many people who simply hate the commute to work, working for an uncompromising boss and for pennies on the dollar.

Money making opportunities fill our in boxes everyday with promises of great wealth and financial security but despite the fact that a lot of these are basically not worth the paper the they are written on, running a home business is not as easy as many would like to think.

High Failure Rate Working From Home

Did you know the failure rate in MLM itself is huge; some 90% of new recruits won't make it. Did you know the failure rate for people trying to run a home business of any type is just as high?

A network marketing inte
et business requires the same applied dedication as a traditional small business. Too many people fail working at home for one main reason...bad time management.

Without a good time management plan you are doomed to fail in your home business or at least, produce average results. Yes, working from home gives you the freedom to spend more time with your family and to work when you want to but if you are not making money then what's the point? You would be better off going back to a paid job. At least the income would be consistent.

Applying A Time Management Plan

A network marketing inte
et business requires a good time management plan. Here are some tips to consider for your business:

1. Set yourself a work time schedule. This is especially important when first starting off in MLM. You can make this schedule whatever you want...9 to 5, 8 to 12, 9 to 3.

2. When your time schedule is set then these are your work hours. Let nothing interrupt you during this time because these are the hours in the day which will be responsible for productivity in your business.

3. Distractions such as the phone, checking emails and the television should be avoided. Check your emails first thing in the morning and leave your phone off or off the hook.

4. Set your schedule for each day the day before. Before you turn in for the night, make a list of your tasks for the day. Place them in order of importance. Don't fall for the trap of doing tasks which are the easiest because they will kill your productivity levels and give you a false sense of accomplishment.

5. Appoint or hire a mentor. Someone you can report to on a daily basis who can offer encouragement and check your progress each day. This person needs to be someone you highly respect or even fear to a certain extent. It needs to be someone you hate to let down because of who they are. This is a very powerful way to beat procrastination and build your network marketing inte
et business.
