Are you a slave to your business, or is your business a slave to you? You may sometimes look at someone who is running a successful business and be envious of him. Envious that he can have his own hours. Envious that he doesn't have a boss looking over his work and measuring its worth. And envious, of course, that he cannot lose his job. So you think to yourself, I would also like to be in business. But is it the right thing for you? Are you cut out to be a businessman? Can you hold out long enough until your business is running smoothly and you are making a profit? Or, will you end up being a slave to your business? Will everyone whom you hire get paid and no money left at the end , to pay yourself? Be A Mentch - Equally important is to be a mentch in doing business. A mentch will show empathy to others whom he deals with. A mentch will not be a bully. First and foremost, a mentch is a man of his word. A mentch is a giver not a taker. In the end, a mentch will win. People will trust him and he will be respected. He will give others business connections and others will give him business connections. Cash Flow - Most new businesses will fail in the first year or two of business. Not because it is a bad business idea. Most businesses fail because of a lack of cash flow. People tend to over estimate the expected income of the business and under estimate the costs involved in opening up a new business. First he begins to be late in rental payments. Then he tends to delay payments for supplies. Eventually his workers are not being paid, so they don't want to come in to work. It doesn't take long for the new business owner to realize that he is working 18 hours a day and not getting anything out of it. Franchises - We think that a franchise is the guarantee for running a successful business. After all we have the guidelines as set forth by the parent company who knows all that there is to know in running the business successfully. It is true that franchises have a higher success rate than new businesses that are not franchises. Still there is no guarantee. There are hundreds of stories of people who paid huge sums of money to buy a respected franchise name and are regretting the very day that they signed the dotted line. Whatever It Takes - Whether you are opening up a new business or buying a franchise, besides the cash flow as discussed above, there is another essential ingredient. "Whatever it takes", attitude. To truly be successful in business you need to have this stubbornness attitude of whatever it takes. You have to dedicate yourself with the attitude of no matter what happens I will be successful in this business - whatever it takes. You need to put blinkers on and plow forward. You have to make believe that you are digging through a tunnel and going back is not an option. In the end you will be successful with the attitude of whatever it takes. With MLSP you can make your MLM business turn around in a few months, but nothing happens on its own. You still need the "Whatever it takes" attitude. Whatever It Takes, revisited - When running an MLM business or MLSP business you don't really have the cash flow problem. You also didn't need to lay out thousands upon thousands of dollars to be in business. You don't have rentals to pay. You don't have to pay for shopfitting. You don't even have salaries to pay. The only thing that you need for these businesses is your dedication and commitment. Precisely because you didn't have all these expenses that a normal business or franchise has, there is more of a danger that you will not have the "whatever it takes" attitude. Easy Come Easy Go - In an MLM business or an MLSP business you didn' t invest heavily to be in business. So the moment you don't see rapid success in your endeavors you give up. Well, you say to yourself, I only invested a few hundred dollars, its not such a loss if I were to walk away from it. But, yes the loss is greater than you think. You are leaving a wonderful opportunity on the table. You are walking away from a potentially successful business for one and only one reason. You are lacking the "whatever it takes" attitude. Once you can put those blinkers on. Plow ahead forward. Ignore the claims of all of the worriers and lazy people. Put on the garments of a warrior and sing a victory tune with the lyrics of "whatever it takes", then you will succeed. For more info go to: "The Online Marketing Expert".
