Who doesn’t want to be successful? Everybody wants to achieve success, to reach that plateau of freedom and realization were you can say “I made it”. But how many people have the “whatever-it-takes” attitude? And what exactly is a “whatever-it-takes” attitude? 1 Know your talents and your weaknessesrnA “whatever-it-takes” person knows he does not become a master at everything, he will concentrate on his talents and make strategic alliances with other people who’s talents are his weaknesses. Mediocre people have the tendency to make alliances with great affinity to themselves, with the same strengths and the same weaknesses, people who think like them. These type of alliances do not complement each other, but usually create conflicting relationships. 2 Stepping stones are goodrnA “whatever-it-takes” have patience and perseverance even when he has to take many detours on his way to his goals, and dreams. Mediocre people will just complain about the difficulties and give up their dreams at the first detour. 3 Storms don’t last foreverrnA “whatever-it-takes” will go through storms that are part of life; holding on to the ship’s helm to maintain direction, not giving up even in the scariest part of the circumstances. Mediocre people will let go of the ship’s helm at the first sign of the storm, struggle to survive and when the storm passes they will have lost direction. 4 Believing is see in itrnA “whatever-it-takes” holds strong in his mind and his heart his goals regardless of the circumstances and regardless of what other people say or think. A “whatever-it-takes” believes in herself or himself, he can see with his mind and feel with his heart his dreams as if they are already a reality. Mediocre people will be discouraged by negative comments, their confidence is not on themselves or their dreams, they believe what other people say or think and they cannot see past the circumstances they are currently experiencing. Yes we all want to be successful and there are no specific pre-requisites to achieve success. Success is not only for a chosen few, what really makes the difference is to have the “whatever-it-takes” attitude or settle for mediocrity. Scherezade Lozano

I have a new cell phone. I didn’t want a new cell phone; I was perfectly happy with my 2020 cell phone, but it wasn’t happy with me. Its connector charging port was ailing. Failing, actually, the service tech told me. And besides, it was an old phone, what did I expect? Old? This to a woman who is more than content, read “thrilled,” to wear outdated fashions just because she likes them. And would willingly keep computers way past their supposed “shelf life.” Sigh. OK, fine,
