Are You Conscious?
Are you conscious? Of the things you think, say and do? Are you aware of the emotions you feel, like when you’re angry, sad or happy?
Being conscious basically means being aware, aware of every move and thought you have. Aware of what you’re gonna do next, what you want to do in your life. Being aware of yourself and what your Heart wants to do. I feel like a lot of people aren’t aware of themselves, aren’t aware that they are these awesome beings called humans that can do whatever they set their mind to.
Many walk around like mindless zombies, too busy trying to catch the next bus instead of stopping and admiring the beauty of the world we are in.
The stereotypical life is to go to school, get a job, have a family and then grow old. But where is the time for you to do stuff you want to do, to do stuff you love, stuff your Heart wants you to do. Are you even conscious of what you are doing now?
There are even times when we aren’t aware of what we feel and say, like when we’re unhappy with something. Sometimes it can be the littlest of things that can upset us, like for me, when someone takes my stuff without asking. I can get quite angry over a petty thing, like a missing pen, and my whole mood for the day would be ruined over something ridiculous. But am I conscious at the time? Nope, definitely not.
So I get angry, say some hurtful things, all because I didn’t take effort to be conscious of what I say. And what’s the effect, you may ask? Well, I may accidentally say some very hurtful things. But I wasn’t conscious so it doesn’t matter, right? WRONG! I still end up hurting people with those words, conscious or not!
Aware or unaware, conscious or not, we are responsible for our own thoughts, words and actions. People would remember words you say when you are cheerful or sad, the things you do when you are angry or happy. Even the thoughts you think affect you and the people around you, you just may not be aware of how it affects you at the moment.
Whatever you think, say or do will eventually come back to you, like I said countless of times in this article so far, whether you are aware of it or not. When you think, say or do something, you’re sending out energy, and eventually this energy will come back to you. (For more info about that, feel free to check out the one of the crucial Laws of Nature, Law of Energy Returns Back to Source available in the eBook version of the Seven Basic Laws of Nature at www.ascendancepro.com)
Anyways, now that you know briefly the importance of being conscious, you know that being aware of yourself isn’t something you should take lightly. Being conscious is crucially important. It lets you be aware of what you do and helps you create the path you want in life.
In this world of infinite possibilities, being conscious helps you see that there is more than one route to Rome, that you are capable of achieving what your Heart wants.
Being conscious shows you that you do have a choice. It separates those who are truly successful from the rest of the world, because they know, out there, there is something bigger than this world. And they are taking the steps there slowly, consciously.
So are you conscious, of what you say, what you think, and what you do?
