I have been selling beauty products online for about six years. It all started when I sold some unwanted gifts on ebay. I enjoyed the buzz of making money online and wanted to do it over and over again. At the time I was unemployed and so it gave me the idea of maybe trying to start a business this way, however the first thing I needed to do was to source some wholesale products which would have a decent margin. Thankfully help was close at hand. I found a book which was all about making money online. It outlined the pros and cons and places to source wholesale products. I wasn’t certain of the product I wanted to sell, the main consideration was that it would have a good margin. Eventually I came to a company who gave me excellent prices on cosmetics. I researched the internet and soon realised that I would be better priced than any of the other competitors. Since then my business has gone from strength to strength and the turnover is growing nicely. However, I am now at a point where I am no longer a small business and I need to make some changes. Firstly I am going to need to employ someone to handle all the administration side of things. I am currently busy launching web-pages in other European countries and I simply don’t have the time. Furthermore we need to implement some kind of Ecommerce Website Software software that tracks the orders more effectively. To date we have been doing it by hand and it is no longer effective. I am really proud of what I have achieved so far and very excited about what the future may hold.
