The Ashok Stumbh symbolises our national spirit and ethos like no other symbol. Now, its replica is available in relatively smaller sizes in wood. It is an exquisite handicraft product whose value is needless to emphasise, is priceless. Our National Emblem is now available in a miniature model This is one stroke of luck, we are sure all our customers both domestic and foreign would not like to miss upon. After all, it is not everyday that you across an artifact that exemplifies grandly what India stands for. Isn't it amazing that you can bring into place all the cultural, emotional, historical, and of course nationalistic feelings all into one single image. Well, we can proudly say that the Ashok Stumbh does all this and more. Not surprisingly enough, the Ashok Stumb is our National Emblem. Thanks to the highly skillful efforts of our craftspersons from the craft rich Rajasthan, this invaluable artifact is now available for purchase. These artisans have literally carved it out of wood and how well received it has been can be readily known in the countless museums, and other such institutions where national and other related but equally important memorabilia are kept. It is a replica to the last detail! We said replica, and believe us it is an exact replica with the Asoka pillar and the four Sarnath lions in place. To their credit, our National Emblem in its wooden form has been transformed one hundred per cent as it is in the original Lion Capital on to its much smaller wooden form by these god gfited craftspersons. Now two or three lines on the Ashok Stumbh that all of us are so rightfully proud of. Our National Emblem features the four lions mounted on a round abacus with a frieze that in turn depicts images of horse, elephant, lion and last but not the least, the Dharmachakra (Ashoka Chakra) itself over a bell shaped lotus. The total effect is simply astounding and adequate enough to evoke the right feelings inside all Indians and other alike. There is a historic sidelight as well that reveals the connection that this Western state has. Jaipur has the Bairat where the Ashoka pillars made of chunar sandstone was excavated in the third century B.C. The sculpture, of course, belonged to the Mauryan times, with Emperor Ashoka taking the lead. The Ashok Stumbh expresses all that India stands for and more. And this has been successfully transformed into this wooden handcrafted product.. Not just museums and other Government institutions and office, there is nothing at all stopping the individual buyer from owning this beyond compare national symbol.
