Ask Yourself – Do I Deserve To Be In Heaven?

Most Muslims believe that based on their religion and faith, Allah will grant heaven to all Muslims. Most also believe that Allah stays in the heart, therefore, He knows about your faith and based on that faith you will be awarded a place in heaven. However, this belief does not motivate any Muslim to lead the life in an Islamic way of life. Rather, it further motivates individuals to strive for the achievement of worldly goods.rnWhen compared with Christianity, Islam believes more on the practical application of the Islamic way of life. Christianity believes more in the spiritual side of things and does not believe in obedience.rnIslam and AllahrnIn the Holy Quran, Allah talks to Muslims saying that He is ‘nothing but an illusion of false reality.’ The ‘true reality’ is when all human beings will face Allah on the ‘Day of Judgment.’ The Holy book also says that the sole purpose of a human beings life is to worship Allah alone without associating any partners with Him. rnAllah also says in the Holy Quran that it is the duty of Muslims and human beings to obey all the rules and principles laid down by Allah as He does not need our worship. The worship is for the benefit of human beings as it will allow them to gain Allah’s favor and mercy. Additionally, this life is only a test or a trial to determine how successfully humans clear the test. rnAllah says in the Quran,rnKnow that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children – like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris. And in the Hereafter is severe punishment and forgiveness from Allah and approval. And what is the worldly life except the enjoyment of delusion. Verse: 57:20 rnTherefore, those who obey the rules of Allah are awarded and blessed for their worship and obedience. They will be granted a place in Heaven because they have obeyed their creator. Those who do not follow His rules will ultimately be punished and will suffer the consequences. rnQuestions to AskrnBeing a Muslim, it is essential to ask oneself some questions. You should ask yourself that how can you expect a place in Paradise if you have not done a single thing to please Allah? When you work, you do not expect to be paid well if you disobey your boss and do not follow the set rules and principles. Therefore, how can you expect Allah to reward you when you are not fulfilling His demands? rnAllah expects Muslims to be steadfast in their belief. It is this belief and obedience that will help Muslims earn rewards from Allah. Allah says in the Quran, rnYou should know that your money and your children are a test, and that GOD possesses a great recompense (compensation). [8:28]rnConclusionrnTherefore, for all Muslims, it is essential to be steadfast in their beliefs. Those who do not obey Him and stray from their belief and faith are not rewarded by Allah.
