Since Mars was the warrior god, it also indicates how you express anger. As you might expect from their element, Mars in earth signs are usually slow to anger. Fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) flare up hot, although for how long and dramatically depends on the sign. Although anger must be expressed, it is not always appropriate to do so in the heat of the moment or directly to the catalyst.
