Australia 108 residential tower is the second tallest building in Australia. It is one and the only building with 100 storeys standing in the city of Melbourne. Fender Katsalidis, the designer of the iconic masterpiece has planned the tower keeping in mind the luxury and need of the people. When talking about the amenities the design of the building has everything to help residents lead a sophisticated life. There are cafes, club house, shops, to fresh food market. These amenities are added in the lower levels or in other words commercial levels of the construction. This highest residential tower Southern Hemisphere is not too far from the hustle and bustle of the city. You can witness the beauty of the city skyline from one of its floors. The venue of the building is very central, keeping in mind the convenience of the residents. There are various facts of this masterpiece you might be unaware of. The design of the building was approved in the year 2013 but before the construction could start a stall instruction was sent by the aviation industry. As per the authorities of the aviation industry the building plan was breaching the norms laid for air safety. In the initial plan the building had 108 floors. Later 8 floors were slashed and the plan was placed again for approval. Mr. Matthew Guy approved the plan on the second round and the engineers are planning to start construction in the middle of 2015. It is estimated that the construction will continue for 3 years and will be handed over to residents in the year 2019. About $900 million will be invested in the construction and the building will have 1,105 apartments. You can purchase single, double or three bedroom apartments, depending on your budget. The height of the building will be 319 metres and there will be about 18 flats on each floor. Lot of foreigners visit Melbourne every year and it is anticipated that the building will have more international investors. Eureka Tower is yet another amazing high rise designed by Katsalidis. The difference that makes Australia 108 unique is its top floors where total privacy will be maintained whereas in Eureka tower the top floors are used for commercial purpose. The building will have infinity pools, fitness centres, and even private dining space where residents can spend their time with family and friends. The top or the 100th floor of the construction will be all the more special. It will have a penthouse with four bedrooms. Parking space at multi level and private theatre is yet another advantage that you can enjoy if you have a flat in the building. Having a flat in the building will also help you enjoy a great capital growth. It is assumed that the prices of the apartments will soar because of its uniqueness.
