There’s a kid in all of us.

And for our collective mental well-being and stability, it is advisable to set this kid free every now and then and to let his/her puerile, fun ways take over.
The one place where *everyone* turns into a free-spirited, no tension-bearing, ice-cream dripping, and unabashedly-fun-having version of him/herself is a theme park.

Almost every tour package for Australia includes a visit to at least one of the many amazing theme parks in Australia. In case your Australia tour Package does not include a theme park visit, then you can read through our picks of the best and make it a point to go to at least one during your trip down-under.

1. Dreamworld
This particular theme park in Gold Coast is almost everyone’s favourite. Dreamworld is where adrenaline-rush has multiple names: Tower of Terror, Giant Drop, Cyclone, Thunderbolt. When you are done seeking thrill, you can challenge fear and visit the tigers in Tiger Island and even get a picture clicked with them. If all this is too much for your brain and heart to take, you can just laze about in the wave pool. Be rest assured, there will not be one dull moment in Dreamworld.

2. Luna Park, Melbourne
The Luna Park in Melbourne is the place for dedicated thrill-seekers. The place is said to be haunted but then the entry to the park is free. Who cares about ghosts if adventure can be attained for free, right? There are many crazy rides (only for adults) to choose from and there are certain all-family rides as well. All in all, Luna Park provides a fun theme park experience.

3. Wet ‘n’ Wild Water World
The name says it all, doesn’t it!? If you’re a water baby, then this is just the theme park for you. Rides on the Aqua Loop clock 45kmph thus ensuring you experience two things that every theme park must offer: thrill + water. If you want to simply relax and unwind then a ride on the River Rapids and around the Calypso Bay is what you must go for. The good news is that most Australia packages include a visit to this theme park thus ensuring you don’t miss the Australian wet ‘n’ wild experience.

4. Seaworld
If watching dolphins dance and polar bears swim is your thing, then Seaworld is just the place for you. Right from witnessing the Sponge Bob Parade, to saying hi to penguins and coming face to face with dinosaurs, this theme park will surprise and enthral you for the entire time that you are there. A good idea would be to include a visit to Seaworld in your customised Australia holiday package; no chance of missing out on all the fun then!

This list is in no way conclusive. But it is enough to get you want to leave your worries behind and kid your way to a theme park, ASAP.
