People go around achieving a popularity using any fad diet and get into shape which is just for a short period of time. HCG diet is another example of that. Some people can go for cabbage soup diet and Hollywood diet just to get that quick mantra to lose weight. You may surely achieve some quick results with these crash diets but they are for a short term only but you may always want a long term shape for your body together with more health benefits. All these fad diets and quick weight loss diets are results in calorie reduction and deprivation indeed. You try everything including cabbage soup, Hollywood cookie diet, HCG diet etc. in the enthusiasm of getting that very attractive shape in very short span of time. In just 2 weeks you get an amazing shape you always dreamt of and lose a plenty of weight that you never lose before. But this happiness turns into frustration very soon as you actually put on even more weight within two months. You not only put on that weight but a lot of frustration, depression and tension for yourself. This opinion of mine may be disliked by many or may hurt other’s feelings but at the same time they will definitely agree with me as it’s true. The reason behind the failure of fad diet is that you actually lose water weight while having the fad diet. Some of them generally provide canned liquids instead of meals or some protein substitute having 400-500 calorie. Effect is worse when you lose muscle together with water weight consequently depriving your body. This is the worse thing that can happen to your body. We all know well that the weight of the muscle is more than the fat and people start getting happy to lose a lot of weight without even knowing that they are losing their muscle weight. You lack necessary nutrients and it further slow down the metabolism process in your body and you still feel happy of losing much weight and lose fat quick in very less time. You instantly quit that diet as you already achieved the figure you always wanted to. This makes you little careless for your body then and you start eating like your old habits. This creates even more trouble for you. You have now started eating like before and you have a slower metabolism now. This leads you to put on even more weight than you had before the crash diet. So, this is how HCG diets and other crash diets work just for a short period of time resulting in more weight in the end. Instead of going for that fad diet you need to try some real food including meat, vegetables, salads etc following some real food program to lose fat and do proper workouts. Your focus should be on reducing the extra fat on your body and not just on reducing the weight. Proper diet consisting of real food and exercises will result in lean muscle and consequently better and faster metabolism which will burn more calories and reduce fat.
