Awake Your Spiritual Powers

We, the human beings are the best creature of God. God blessed us with a beautiful body, a powerful mind to think and act, and a soul loaded with spiritual powers. However, most people are unaware of their inherent spiritual powers and, therefore, concentrate more on accumulating wealth and material things. The more a person knows about spirituality the more he/she understands the real meaning of life and purpose.

How you can awake your spiritual powers is something that you need to learn and practice. I am giving below some practical ways to help you in achieving spiritual powers.

1. Meditation

Deep meditation is the best way of awakening spiritual powers. Find some quiet time early morning or late night when there is least outside distraction. Open the window to let the fresh air come in, if weather permits. Switch off the lights. Sit crossed legged on the floor in complete stillness (no body movements). Clear your mind from all kind of tensions and negative thoughts. Concentrate on your breathing. Breathe slowly and deeply. Let the divine powers connect your mind with the soul. Listen calmly to your inner conversation but do not interfere with your inner talks. After a few weeks of continuous meditation sessions you will be on your way to inner spiritual awakening.

2. Love Nature

Another way of awakening your spirituality is through love of nature. Nature talks to you in the “language of silence”. Go for an early morning walk to the nearby park and watch the rising sun. Listen to the whisper of trees, plants and the flowers. Everything tells you something in the language of silence. The naughty cool morning breeze makes the leaves dance with joy. The butterflies open their artistically designed colourful wings and kiss the beautiful multi-coloured flowers. The bees extract honey from the flowers. The birds fly low to pick their food from the ground. What a wonderful new world around you that is touching your soul and amazingly mesmerising you! Are you not feeling the divine presence all around you? Are you not feeling your body being refreshed and the soul being empowered?

Spend as much time as possible in natural environment. Go to the mountains, walk in the jungle, do boating in the rivers, sit by the side of a lake and appreciate the surrounding natural beauty. Observe the nature closely and feel the presence of a higher power around you. Try to understand nature. The nature talks to you without uttering a single word. Listen what your ears are not listening and talk to nature without opening you mouth. Communicate everything in the language of silence. Your emotions are being heard not your words.

3. Love people

The more you love people the more God loves you. The more God loves you the more you come near to Him and this results in growing spiritual enlightenment. Be kind to people and help them as far as possible. Take care of the poor and feed the hungry. All spiritually active people have one thing in common and that is their love for human beings. Love is their religion and love is their life style. They love people from the core of their hearts without any discrimination whatsoever. Love is the most powerful tool that naturally brings you closer to God and awakens your inherent spiritual powers. Let the love brighten your life and enlighten your soul with divine spirituality.

4. Listen to Sufi Songs and Music
