Ayurveda and The Body’s natural power of Heal rnOur bodies are amazing instruments of precision and perfection. If we look at our anatomy and physiology and how all of these systems work within us with perfect time and congruent processes we might discover just how amazing we are. The body also has the natural ability to heal and we should do everything in our power to discover this ability to heal and to foster it within our lives. The body can heal itself in a lot of respects but we also have to facilitate this healing by forming habits that will allow for these things to happen in a more productive way. If we take plenty of rest (at least 7 hours) this in itself gives the body the ability to rest and spend time reconstructing and revitalizing itself. If we drink at least 2 liters of water a day we also give our bodies the ability to rid itself of toxins so that disease isn’t formulated and promoted within our systems. When we are not able to digest food these wastes become toxins which later turn into disease. We should always try to come to our bodies aid and help it along the way for its natural and proper functioning. In addition, we will find that if we contribute to the well being and cleanliness in our body we will also contribute to its general health and with the ability to prevent disease. Furthermore, we should also take into account that we do not breathe properly. In most studies we only use about 30 percent of our lung capacity and therefore are only using that amount of oxygen to help our blood purification and proper functioning in our system. Simply by being conscious of this and taking deeper breaths throughout your day you can start to bring health into your life in a natural way. Also, if you discover the power of the breath you will also have a tool that will help in fighting stress and in being able to handle difficult situation in times of stress or anguish. We will find that breathing or deep breathing can help us when we are in these difficult states that sometimes lead us to destructive paths and bad decisions. We need to stop ourselves when we are in these states and take some deep breathing to bring us back to our natural selves. We underestimate breathing because like health it is something that we take for granted. But shouldn’t our health be at the forefront of our priorities. It is much better than waiting for something to break and then fixing it. It certainly makes more sense to proceed in this way. Yet, we have difficulties with so many modern complexities to see that our bodies, nature, and proper functioning our vital to who we are. Also, if you begin to experience these healing principles that are prescribed by Ayurveda you will also find that they are so simple and easy to incorporate into your lifestyles. How can we learn then? We have many ways for a person to learn about Ayurveda. We have shared many educational videos online and now with the power of the internet we have many ways to teach these valuable lessons that in the long run will save you much time, money, anguish and problems. Deal with it today! You will always thank yourself in the immediate future and also in the long term future.
