Large foreign trade e-business companies such as Alibaba and Global Sources and some vertical websites such as mysteel.com and china.chemnet.com have drawn wide attention on the market in B2B industry.

While B2B industry has been running on the market for some years, but it did not get good response from the market and many of them can not make profit.

According to ebrun.com, most industry websites annual turnover can not surpass 5 million; industry websites with annual turnover exceeding 20 million can be called bellwether in the industry.

These industry website profit mode is mainly hinges on collecting membership fees, ad fees, but relevant service lagged behind, especially services for those foreign trade SMEs. Such websites can not make a second breakthrough and the chance is slim. Small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises e-business mode can not be satisfied by a simple platform with only product information release function.

It needs more services starting from helping to set up a foreign trade website and giving recommendation on seeking orders online and offering internet marketing, especially payment service and logistic service, since these services are SMEs conce
ed about. Many B2B websites such as Alibaba.com, Global Sources, mysteel.com and china.chemnet.com can not resolve or offer any services besides e-business techniques and data.
