An outdoor game that is played with two or four players, badminton is very popular in all circles of the society. Features of the court are –rnWith a few deviations, the usual size of the court is 44’ x 22’ in size.rnPlayers on the court will have the objective of putting the shuttle over the net in the center of the court to the opponent’s side and if it does not come back while in the air, a point is won. rnFor singles games, the breadth of the court is usually reduced by a couple of feet in the proportion of one foot a side. rnCourt is divided into several parts. A part from the net towards the court is the area where if the shuttle falls during service, it will be fault. rnThere is also a rectangular base area at the end of the court and if served shuttle lands there it would be fault. rnRemaining part of the court is divided into two parts, a left and right court. Some of the basic features of the game are that only the serving player or side can score a point. Usually the games are of 11, 15, or 21 points. Match is usually of best of three games and players switch sides after each game during the first two and halfway during the third.
