Many have read thousands of books and know the meaning of all the spiritual texts, but only those who put knowledge to work attain enlightenment.

To know something in our mind is wonderful because it uplifts and starts the process of opening the heart. But in order to open the heart completely, we have to use our knowledge to help others. Having knowledge and not using it is a waste. Thus to know even a small amount of knowledge and use it in a practical way by helping others is the path of enlightenment.

Teaching is one of the best ways to use knowledge. At one time being a teacher was revered around the world, to pass one’s knowledge to others and to show others the power of action is the key to fulfillment.

All the great avatars who have come before were great teachers such as Jesus who taught peace and took action to help the poor and infirm. Buddha who taught how to overcome desires and end suffering.

We are not here to become a library of knowledge.

Action is key.

Action is the catalyst for changing the world.

Action is the birthplace of a new vision.

Action is the expansion of thought.

Action is the power of the word expressed.

Action is LOVE.

Just like baking a cake, in order to have a cake rise we need a catalyst and that’s where baking powder comes into play. To talk about baking powder will not make a cake rise. Only by taking action and adding baking powder will a cake rise.

Thus action is the catalyst of enlightenment, mixed together with lots of love, plus a dash of peace, contentment, surrender, and an open heart we change the world. As we change the world we also uplift our soul by seeing our knowledge come alive… thus we feel happy.

Many Blessings to Everyone!
