Every discerning traveller has a dream to tour Bangkok. The place is famous for its ancient temples, Buddhist Pagodas and famous beaches. If you browse the internet, you will come across a number of attractive Bangkok tour packages. rnBeing a Buddhist country, Thailand is full of temples. Still, one can find many Hindu temples also. Hence, a tour package for Bangkok invariably includes visits to these temples. As the country is close to the Equator, weather is moderately hot for most part of the year. World famous Pattaya beaches offer shopping malls, western restaurants, and to top it, the world infamous nightlife. Obviously a travel in Pattaya will be very interesting from a tourist's view point. Some of the beautiful beaches here are Jomtien Beach, Naklua Beach, and Wong Prachan Beach. These beaches are quiet and have long stretches of soft and supple sand, with bright, clear blue water. Other than the famous beaches, one can travel in Pattaya and see the many places of interest which are worth visiting. These include Mini Siam and mini Europe displaying Thai and European culture, Million years Stone park and Crocodile farm which houses more than 1,000 crocodiles together with breeding pens, Wat Yansangwararam temple, and Panarak park. Pattaya is also famous for its annual Festival. A tourist gets his money's worth when these places of interest are included in any package for Bangkok. Phuket, which is in close proximity to Bangkok, boasts of many beautiful beaches and islands. Obviously Phuket is a must for any Bangkok tour package. It is no wonder, with all the attractive places of interest, Thailand government earns substantial revenue through tour package for Bangkok. Apart from beaches and temples, Bangkok also has some of the most beautiful parks. Queen Sirikit Park, built to commemorate the 60th birthday of the queen is one such park. Lumphini Park and Princess Mother Memorial Park are the other parks worth visiting. rnBangkok is also famous for its museums. These museums cater to particular themes. Some of these museums are The Siriraj Medical Museum, The Vimanmek Mansion Museum, Suan Pakkad Palace, The National Museum, and The National Gallery Museum. Interested tourist can dedicate a couple of days to visit these museums. There are many famous temples located in Bangkok, few are worth mentioning here. They are Wat Arun, Wat Pho and Wat Saket. In Thailand temples are called as Wat. Wat Pho is the temple of reclining Buddha. It is named so because of the 46 meter long Buddha sculpted in a reclining position. The idol is covered with gold leaves. Wat Suthat is another oldest temple where one finds the giant swing. In addition to visiting some of the ancient architectural sites and religious places, one can also take a cruise along the winding canals through Bangkok where you also find people making boat as their home. A speed boat ride to visit any of the beautiful islands around Pattaya will fruitfully conclude one's travel in Pattaya on a grand note. The best time to visit Bangkok is November to February. Weather is comparatively cooler during this period. So, any Bangkok tour package will be in great demand during this time of the year. If you plan to visit during this time, make sure that you book your trip in advance.
