The candidate should be minimum 18 years of age, and should not be more than 28 years.
The candidate must possess a minimum qualification of 12th standard pass or other equivalent qualification with minimum aggregate marks of 60%. However, this is 55% for candidates under SC, ST, XS, and PWD categories. All XS (OBC) and PWD (OBC) candidates applying under the special drive must possess minimum marks of 60% in higher secondary or some equivalent examination, or must hold a graduation degree from some recognized university.

The application fee for candidates under General category is Rs.350, while it is Rs.50 for the SC/ST/PWD and ex-servicemen candidates. Offline payment can be remitted via the payment challan available at the official website of State Bank of India, and submitted at any SBI branch.
