With the growth of the banking sector, it is in huge demand for efficient banking personnels. To resolve this issue, IBPS which is one of the largest recruiters in the banking sector, came up with a novel strategy. This included conducting mass recruitment through an All India Examination. It was called the CWE, common written exam and was conducted in 2011. Many well renowned public sector banks of India took part in this recruitment procedure. Syndicate Bank:

Canara Bank:
• Canara Bank was established in 1906 and is one of the oldest banks of India. It is well reputed for customer satisfaction and serving the banking industry since many years.
• It has its main headquarters in Bangalore, Karnataka. Also its wings are spread in countries like London, Hong Kong, Moscow, Shanghai, Doha, and Dubai.
• In 2012, Canara Bank has opened 2000 vacancies for the posts of Bank Probationary Officer (po) or Management Trainee (MT), and clerical posts. Recruitment will be conducted through a direct interview.
