In this form of advertisement, graphics are extensively used on websites and they do come in various sizes and shapes. The accepted standard is 468 pixels and width of 60 pixels. Because this size is so widely accepted, the similar ad could be easily used on various websites without having to alter its layout and volume of size. Using this as a means of promotion of contact details, address or anything else could be done however the actual purpose behind them is interest people so that they click on them and finally reach your site’s page and further make purchases of the products produced by your company. Although there are many strong and positive points relating this being used as a promotion mode but there have been rumors aired that its effectiveness is fading away.
